Women's Leadership DevelopmentGreat strides have been made over the last two decades in the recognition of women’s leadership skills and in the development and advancement of women as leaders. We believe, however, that there are gender differences that subtly impact a woman’s ability to climb ladders. Research indicates that there are still two areas that keep women from achieving: lack of mentors and access to informal networks. “Masculine” values (getting to results from a competitive, logical, bottom-line, top-down driven approach) still permeate many organizations; therefore, women need support in developing their leadership skills and managing their careers in a system that is not always aligned with their feminine values (getting to results from a collaborative, intuitive, holistic, relational and humanistic approach). We advocate the development of an integrated leadership style that combines the best of the masculine and feminine, and we work with our clients to create cultures that support the full development of women as well as men. It’s critical for all our clients to balance their personal and professional lives, but women tend to be most affected by balance issues. Women must make decisions that are more personally impacting for them than for men, such as when to get pregnant, when to take on assignments requiring extensive travel, how to manage sexual dynamics that are not outright harassing but that create discomfort, and how to play office politics without losing one’s feminine values. Therefore, we offer services that support women in developing themselves and advancing their careers. Coaching for Women’s Leadership DevelopmentIn addition to our executive and corporate coaching services, we provide specialized coaching programs for women that tend to focus on abilities such as finding one’s voice, identifying a career path, gaining and maintaining visibility, developing mentoring relationships, finding and maintaining balance, and building informal networks to advance career progress. Our programs are custom designed to meet the needs of our clients. We advocate combining coaching with learning labs in order to provide women with a process of individualized support as well as shared learning. Coaching supported by workshops at which women can share their experiences and their learnings helps to sustain success by building a community of women leaders.
We partner with women on a grassroots level as well as with senior management to initiate women’s networks. These networks serve to support women’s issues in the organization and to create a channel of communication between women and senior management, all with the goal of serving the organization through the enhancement of women’s leadership and the advancement of their careers.
We work with companies and women’s networks and initiatives within companies to design and establish mentoring programs targeted to support the development of talented, high potential women
We design and deliver workshops targeted to companies, institutions and associations interested in helping women develop their leadership and their careers. Ginny has given keynote speeches and led workshops for the following women’s groups and conferences:

People are saying ...“Ginny has enabled me to view myself through a unique lens. She has taught me how to be seen as the person I am trying to be; and exactly what I need to do to get there and stay there. Ginny's direct and non-judgmental approach provides an environment where all issues are fair-game. Her holistic style is remarkably refreshing for women in business as it is so much more effective for problem solving. When I wanted to start a women's network at my company, Ginny was quick to support every aspect including positioning myself as a leader. I consider our relationship instrumental in achieving my goals.” Kathy Ball-Toncic, Executive Director, Global Partners, Omgeo “Ginny conducted a workshop on Actualizing High Level Career Change as part of an afternoon of workshops designed for already successful women. Ginny worked very effectively with a room of high-level, high-powered female executives. Her presentation style drew women out and helped everyone feel comfortable talking about rather personal goals. Her exercises really helped attendees hone in on their core values and the subsequent direction they might like to take next in their careers. These are women who are not easily impressed and they unanimously rated her workshop as the best of the afternoon.” Marianne DelPo Kulow, Director, Bentley College Women's Leadership Institute "Ginny drives her points home with her energy, enthusiasm and expertise. I can't wait to try to use the skills that she taught today." Lisa Axelrod, Women's Success Forum “Ginny's preparedness, insight, empathy and dynamic speaking style ensured that our event was a rousing success. Her topic was timely; her presentation was thorough and easy to follow; and her inclusive activities spurred great conversation. Our feedback from attendees indicates that she made a terrific impression on them.” Alyssa Gilmore, Co-chair Omgeo Women's Network “Dynamic — Ginny is very knowledgeable and has good insight.” Participant, Xerox, International Women’s Conference "This workshop was great!
